AI Actions

Introduction

The AI Actions tab gathers the actions that produce work on a project. This page is a quick reference guide showing one row per action, what result to expect from it, and the lifecycle stage it belongs to.

The stage column is there so you can move in either direction. If you arrive here from a search, it tells you where the action sits in the journey; if you arrive from a lifecycle guide, it tells you which action does the work.

The actions

Each action is described by the result it produces and which actions are appropriate at any moment follows from the stage the project has reached, so use the Compass and the project’s Next Step rather than working through this list in order.

Run Solutioning now also produces the Business Solution Architecture and Technical Solution Architecture documents, which replace the combined design documents generated previously.

Where the results appear

An action runs in the background, so you can carry on working while it is under way. Background AI Jobs shows what is active, and the records an action produces are reached from the Project tab, with the execution history held in Runs.
