If payment lapses

Introduction

If a licence lapses or an environment is deactivated, the sandbox moves into a reduced mode. This is reduced operation, not deletion. This article sets out exactly what changes, what stays, and what to do to return the environment to its normal service of operation.

What changes

AI actions stop for that environment. No new analysis, generation or testing work can be started in that environment while the licence is not valid.

What remains

Existing projects, artefacts and records remain readable, together with designs, test cases, generated documentation and the approval history stay where they are, so a project can still be reviewed and its evidence can still be read. In other words, ARVO Studio is not uninstalled and project history is not deleted.

Restoring normal operation

Normal operation returns when a valid entitlement is active against the environment again. On Partner Edition, contact your assigned Bluefort contact person, who can provision the entitlement and issue the access key which you can then enter in ARVO Studio Setup. On a direct subscription, the subscription is restored through the route the purchase was started from, which is the monthly card billing set up at checkout.

Once the entitlement is valid again, check the access key indicator on Setup: when it is on, the key is stored and entitlement verification is active. AI actions become available again once the customer’s own AI connection is configured and AI operations are enabled for the environment.
