Manage your subscription

Introduction

How a subscription is managed depends on the route it was bought through. This article explains who does what on each route, so that you know where to go when an environment needs to be added, a renewal is approaching or a billing question comes up.

Partner Edition

The assigned Bluefort contact person manages the subscription with you. That contact provisions the licence, binds each environment entitlement to the named end customer’s tenant and environment, adds entitlements when another customer joins during the term, and handles the renewal. Billing is annual and invoiced in advance.

Everything runs to a single date. An entitlement added mid-term runs to the same renewal date as the base subscription, so the whole arrangement stays on one term rather than fragmenting into separate anniversaries. When you know a new customer environment is coming, tell your Bluefort contact early so the entitlement is ready when the sandbox is.

Direct subscription

A direct subscription is bought from inside the product through the hosted checkout, and it is billed monthly by card. It is managed through the same route it was started from, against the tenant and environment where the purchase was made. The acceptance record for the Bluefort Intelligence EULA holds the version, timestamp, user and tenant from that purchase.

Changing environments

Moving an entitlement is a licensing action rather than a billing one, and it is governed by the 90-day reassignment rule. Check the date of the most recent activation before you plan a move, because deactivating early does not release the entitlement early. On Partner Edition, agree the timing with your Bluefort contact so the new environment can be provisioned as soon as the entitlement becomes free.

Commercial terms

This portal does not publish prices. The current Bluefort Intelligence Licensing Guide is the authoritative source for commercial terms and pricing, and your Bluefort contact can provide the current version.
