Introduction
ARVO Studio is designed so that the place where work is generated and the place where the business runs are never the same place. This article states this rule and explains what Production actually receives as a final deliverable.
Sandbox, gate, Production
The whole journey has three parts as we have already identified. Work happens in a sandbox environment, where designs are produced, the solution is generated and tests are run. Promotion is only allowed after the required gates are green and the entitlement is valid. Production then receives the approved solution app only without any testing reports or documentation.

Important: ARVO Studio installs and runs only in sandbox environments. Production receives only the approved solution app through gated promotion. ARVO Studio and the generated test app never go to Production.
When you install ARVO Studio from AppSource, the target is always a sandbox environment and Production is never a valid target. All project work, including generation and testing, therefore stays in the sandbox for the life of the project. When the required gates have been approved, ARVO installs the approved solution into Production through the Admin Center path, which is the same route any other Business Central app uses for deployments.
If promotion is blocked, ARVO Studio shows the condition that still needs to be resolved rather than releasing anything early. Once promotion succeeds and the gate is green, the project record is marked as closed and the receipt will hold the evidence of what will be released.
