How ARVO Studio is licensed and bought

Introduction

This article explains the two ways ARVO Studio is bought and how a licence becomes usable in a Business Central environment. For commercial terms and pricing, always use the current Bluefort’s Licensing Guide:

There is the Partner Edition which is bought by a Business Central partner for their own delivery work. Another route is the Direct subscription, which is bought by the end customer from inside the product. The route you use determines who signs, who provisions the licence and how activation is completed.

Installing is free, licensing is separate

The ARVO Studio listing on Microsoft AppSource is free and while installing the app costs nothing and does not create a paid subscription. The application stays inactive in the environment until an environment entitlement is activated against that environment. Licensing is always a separate step from installation, and as such it is always recommended to install the app from AppSource in advance.

Partner Edition

Partner Edition is bought by the partner and used by the partner to deliver work for their own end customers.

  • The partner signs a License Order Form that references the Bluefort Intelligence EULA and states the base subscription, the number of environments and the term.
  • Bluefort invoices annually in advance.
  • Your assigned Bluefort contact provisions the licence and binds each environment entitlement to the named customer’s Microsoft Entra tenant and Business Central environment.
  • If another end customer is added during the term, the additional entitlement runs to the same renewal date as the base subscription, so everything renews together.
  • Partner Edition is for the partner’s own delivery use. ARVO Studio is not resold and no reseller margin applies.

Once the entitlement has been provisioned, your Bluefort contact issues an access key and you complete activation in ARVO Studio Setup using that key. This is covered in the article titled Activate an environment.

Direct subscription

A direct subscription is bought by the end customer, and the whole journey starts inside Business Central.

  • The customer installs ARVO Studio free from AppSource into a sandbox environment.
  • The customer starts the purchase from inside the product and completes the hosted checkout.
  • The Bluefort Intelligence EULA is accepted in-app and this confirmation stores the EULA version applied to this purchase together with user, tenant and date information.
  • The licence then activates against the same tenant and environment from which the purchase was started. There is no separate activation step to complete afterwards.
  • Direct subscriptions with Bluefort are billed in monthly installments by card.
